About
Rachel

I’m Rachel. I write at thatnight.net. If I survive the plane ride, this will be my first SXSW experience. Aside from attending the Bloggie Awards, I’m looking forward to meeting a few of my blogging idols and becoming one of those real-life people who’s actually a lot cooler online.
I was approached by the magnificent Richie, designer extraordinaire, and asked to contribute to this blog, which will document the experiences of a first-timer who really didn’t have a company name to put on her badge.
I agreed and I totally wasn’t kidding.
I’m still a student and a brunette. I reside in Pittsburgh, and I really like it there. I am able to attend this remarkable conference through the generosity of my readers.
Thanks for tuning in.
Richie listed the more important websites, but here are some other ways to keep in touch with me:

When I scraped up enough cash to pony up for the SXSW ride, I thought a one-time blog could be a neat thing.
I’ve heard that people learn a lot at the conference, and from what I could scrape together on Flickr, seem to have fun doing it. If it’s so good, I wanted to capture that for myself. This website is the result of that.
I approached the wonderful Rachel and asked her to contribute to this blog. By some miracle of God, she agreed. I’m still waiting for her to tell me she was just kidding.
On most days, I work at this really small company in Kansas that ended up making this really big framework that, I guess, makes Web development a whole lot less painful. We’re on WebFaction, and you should be, too.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m a Leo. And legal.
